Title | Leptospermum laevigatum |

Description | This L. laevigatum taxa has completely finished flowering, however the calyx (the 5 pointed sepals) are still visible, which is a give away characteristic of the (x5) white petals that would have been visible earlier in the year. whilst the Leschenault cachement area is prone to extreme cold weather at times, the Mediterranean climate and its proximity to the sea mean that its distribution here is LIKELY NOT A SYMPTOM OF CLIMATE CHANGE. However, it may be fruiting earlier than usual (but is hard to state with any certainty given the date of this sighting). |
