Description | Black-anther Flax-Lily (Dianella revoluta subsp. revoluta) in the Ingliston Gorge section of Werribee Gorge State Park east of Ballan, Victoria, Australia. Photographed on 24 November 2012. This is a different form than the normal subspecies found in the area. This plant does not appear to be stoloniferous, has a much simpler inflorescence and darker coloured flowers (normal form is a light blue colour). The petals also appear to be more elongated than the normal subsp. revoluta. |
