Description | Phallaceae Colus pusillus Basidiomycetes (Puffballs and others) We found two of these today. They are a fungus which emerges from an egg like jelly substance. You can see it at the base of the 'fingers'. The fungi is found in sand and is a decomposer. Often smells like rotting flesh or faeces to attract flies that spread the spores. |
