| Description | The 'March fly' or Ectenopsis sp from the Pangoniinae Sub-family appear in our local reserve in November/December. They have very brilliant coloured eyes that reflect the light in the late sun. We found them feeding on the Verticordia densiflora flowers. As yet we have never been bitten by them nor have they tried to sit on us or our clothing. Photos: Fred and Jean |
