Description | A very delicate orchid found along the great north walk in Sydney. A scientific study has found they are pollinated by a species of wasp (Ichneumonidae) which they trick into visiting the flower. They are so successful in attracting the male wasp that they mistake the orchid for a female and are unable to detect a female wasp of the same species nearby. |
