Description | A very delicate orchid found along the great north walk in Sydney. A scientific study has found they are pollinated by a species of wasp (Ichneumonidae) which they trick into visiting the flower. They are so successful in attracting the male wasp that sometimes they ejaculate on the orchid and are unable to detect a female wasp of the same species nearby. |
