| Description | At first I thought this was Marasmius elegans, then I looked at my other photos of a group I found further down the track. The two groups of fungi, even though they have similar two-toned stipes and velvety orange-brown caps, have vastly different gills. This made me rethink the first group. They both possibly could be M. elegans, but if not, they are most likely closely to it. Photo taken by my husband, Chris Ryan.
