Description | What I assume is Craspedia glabrata (little alpine billybuttons) growing alongside a rather small Craspedia macrocephala (syn. C. alpina) on the track to Lake Kay, Central Plateau Conservation Area, Tasmania. These plants where growing in low, grassy heath community around a hollow. I initially took them for C. macrocephala but the consistently smaller stature and multiple inflorescences of this population made me do a double take. |
