Description | Tamarix Honey-myrtle (Melaleuca tamariscina) on the eastern side of the Burra Range, White Mountains National Park, Queensland, Australia. Photographed on 20 April 2016. This species is very attractive to insects - especially native bees - because of its high nectar load. This plant was a host to the native Megachild Bee Megachile tosticauda. |
